Fallout 4 – Everything you need to know about Bethesda’s Upcoming Game
While Bethesda Games Studios has not made any statement about the Fallout 4 game, it is one of the most rumored about game to come to the tech market, people starting the talk about the game way back in 2008 when Fallout 3 was released.
The company did state that Fallout 4 will be seen at Gamescom 2014, between August 14th and 17th in Cologne Germany. As we already said, there have been a lot of speculations surrounding the game, but let’s establish once and for all: what is truth and what is just pure rumor?
In the month of August in 2010, Todd Howard stated in an interview that Bethesda was working on two very important projects. One we already saw developed and very popular among the fans, for two years now. The other one is still stuck in pre-production.
The truth is that there is no way to know in what stage is Bethesda right now with the very anticipated game or what progress has been made before life-sized development began, just last year.
The company started working on Fallout 3 in 2004, and managed to release the game in 2008. Though, there has been a delaying because of the Elder Scrolls IV which needed to be released before Fallout 3. There have been 6 years from the release of Fallout 3, 2 more years than it took to get the Fallout 3 on the markets, but we shouldn’t give Bethesda a hard time, seeing how they have worked on other projects in the mean time.
In August 2012, a Reddit user was stating that Bethesda Games Studio are going to place their Fallout 4 game in the area of Boston, seeing how they were already exploring it. The thought was not that shocking and actually plausible, since we already knew that Bethesda was looking for a new setting for the fourth game in the Fallout franchise. Actually, before launching Fallout 3, Bethesda was looking at Boston as well – though they never went for the idea.
Three Dog (DJ) has insinuated that we will see his role in the Fallout 4 game as well. It does come as a surprise, but not as an impossible task, that the DJ will travel from Washington to the new setting, Boston, just to respect the script of the project.
