Fallout 4 Release Date in Fall 2015

Fans of the Fallout series have always eagerly awaited the next installment of the game, and it is pretty safe to assume that the wait for Fallout 4 has begun shortly after the release of Fallout 3. That was all way back in October 2008, and you might say that it’s a pretty long time to wait for a game. It seems, however, that the wait won’t be too much longer, and the awaiting Fallout fans might finally catch a break.

There is nothing official or confirmed just yet, but there are strong rumors that suggest Fallout 4 will make a grand entrance at 2015’s E3 convention. This speculation comes after Fallout 4 failed to make an appearance at 2014’s edition of E3. However, fans still hope to see the game soon, and that it will transition from Bethesda’s development, on to store shelves. That is, of course, if Bethesda, the developer behind the previous Fallout installments, still is in charge of the Fallout series, as several recent reports claim Bethesda dropped Fallout and passed it to another game developer, namely Battle Studios.

Howard Todd, game director for Bethesda, stated that they have not discussed a specific time for Fallout 4’s release. This came as a response from Howard Todd, when he was asked about Fallout 4 casting documents.

At this point, fans awaiting the release of Fallout 4, either by the same Bethesda,  or by a new game developer ( Battle Studios or whichever it may turn out to be), are pretty much separated into two distinct groups, each bearing their own ideology. One side strongly believes that a game developer switch , which is rumored to have happened, is detrimental for the well being of Fallout 4, and the game will not live up to the expectations of those waiting for so long. The others side, holding opposed beliefs to those in the first camp, claim that Fallout 4 being passed to Battle Studios is a positive thing, and that the game will see a positive outcome. However, due to the fact that these are just rumors for the moment, all they can do right now is pretty much argue.

A pretty important factor in the proportions of Fallout 4’s anticipation is the massive success struck by the previous installment, Fallout 3. The game’s popularity propelled it so high, that it scored above 90% scores on game rankings across all three major platforms, namely the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
