Galaxy Note 4 Release Date, Processor, Chipset and GPU all in one Report

The rumor has been confirmed: Samsung’s signature phablet series, the Galaxy Note, is coming with a quite feature-packed 4th device. What we’re talking about is the eight core processor which comes with a Exynos SoC 64-bit chipset.

It is official: the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be available in even more markets than the Galaxy Note 3 was – as stated by SamMobile in their report. The new chipset Exynos 5433 differs from any predecessor with the modem it presents: Intel-made LTE Category 6. What the Intel XMM7260 chip will ensure is a pleasant user experience and a smooth performance – the users can access 300mbps internet (Wi-Fi) which will surely interest a lot of people out there.

SamMobile further says that what the Cat6 LTE ensures for is a launching of “the Exynos variant of the Galaxy Note 4 in more countries than it has been able to with its flagships in the last couple of years,

We are used for Samsung giving more options for processor than one, so we were not that surprised when the South Korean tech giant declared that the Note 4 will be available with both Snapdragon and Exynos chipset. Although, they did say that the Exynos variant will be produced exclusively for niche markets.

While that is true, the website’s report also states that most likely there will be a very close number of shipment levels for both the Snapdragon version and the Exynos one.

The Exynos 5433 will reportedly feature eight cores in only one CPU package, which would be the equivalent of four Cortex A7 cores or four Cortex A15 ones.

We are also thinking that the new phablet will come with a 64-bit mobile computing standard, as indicated in a BGR statement: “Google will … support 64-bit architecture in future Android versions“. It is not a direct reference to Samsung’s Note 4, but considering when it is supposed to release, the Exynos chipset will probably be 64-bit ready.

Even if the chipset won’t have the 64-bit feature, there is nothing to worry about: the phablet will still be the most powerful of its series. Also BGR news stated that the Exynos 5433 is actually more powerful than the Snapdragon 805. So any interested buyers don’t have anything to worry about.

The graphic engine included in the package is a Mali GPU which is rumored to fire up a Quad HD display with a rendering screen resolution of 2K (2560 x 1600 pixels).

The device will be released in September 2014, most likely during the IFA Berlin event, and it might be one of the first smart devices to showcase the Android Lollipop operating system. The Galaxy Note 4 will be easy on the eyes with its 4 color options (blue, gold, white and black) and it will also have killer camera specs like optical image stabilization and more.
