GTA 6 Release Date on June 2017 – Where Would The Game Be Set?
If you’re any Grand Theft Auto fan, you’re not going to be happy about this. We heard from various sources that GTA 6 would appear in the month of June 2017, which didn’t seem that far away. But recently, a Reddit account of a Rockstar Games employee posted that the information is a mere rumor and that Bethesda is currently working on another game.
We hear from Motoring Crunch that a senior developer from Rockstar Games has been heard stating that he will be working on a sequel to a very popular IP which may indicate that Rockstar is actually working on Red Dead Redemption 2.
Other dreams seem to be broken because the word that the GTA VI will be placed in Liberty City again, not Vice City as we knew until now. The Internet exploded about the new GTA game being called “Return to Vice City”, but some current sources say that all that is a lie. What should we believe? Actually, there are some speculations going around about GTA VI not having only one location, but actually 4, some of the Grand Theft Auto developers declaring that they are getting inspiration from Las Vegas (a.k.a. Las Venturas in the game), London, Paris and Brazil.
Leslie Benzies, president of Rockstar North declares in an interview with Develop that they have a lot in store for GTA fans, so we’ll just have to wait.
Benzies states: “We’ve got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do. We don’t know what ‘GTA VI’ will be, but we’ve got some ideas. GTA Online is the focus right now. There ain’t no rest between finishing ‘V’ and then Online. Plus we have some other things — stuff, DLC, I don’t know how to describe it exactly — that we’d like to do, and we’ll pick the right ones.”
