iPad Air 2 Could be a Game Changer with Top Features and 4K Ultra High Def

After the iPad Air had such a warm welcome among Apple fans, the company is releasing a second device to be its successor: the iPad Air 2. Rumors say that the new tablet will have a revolutionary effect on the tech market, being tooled with the Apple A8 chipset which promises better graphics. Not only will the device showcast the new Apple chipset, but it will also have features like: an impressive resolution of 4K, game console and TV support. Let’s see exactly what Apple has in store for us with this new tablet.

When the iPad Air tablet was released, it was a game changer. The tablet combined the idea of a MacBook Air and an iPad into an easy-to-carry but feature-packed device. Since everyone was surprised (in a good way) with the iPad Air, we are sure that Apple can push through the barriers of releasing another tablet with amazing specs.

According to analysts, the new iPad will feature the new A8 chipset which will improve the user experience: the tablet promises to have way better performance and computing speed. We hear that the chipset will be revolutionary itself, being made with the 20 nanometer process. This will ensure more capacity but also less battery usage. Another aspect analysts are expecting improving in is CPU (especially the graphics).

The iPad Air holds a great resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, but the iPad Air 2 is rumored to bring a 4K resolution, which is amazing (3840 x 2160 pixels). This type of resolution can be found in computer monitors and TVs.

Well, what a game changer is (figuratively and literally) is the Metal API feature which promises to enhance the gaming performance on the tablet by 5 to 10 times. This technology has been presented at WWDC, where everyone was amazed about the new standard Apple is bringing to the table. The fact is that we don’t know how other companies will replicate this technology, since it goes beyond the standard of the current industry: OpenGL.

The specs will include console support, which is a big plus to the gamers mass. With the mentioned specs the iPad Air 2 will sustain, the new tablet may even convert some hardcore computer gamers into playing on a high performance tablet like the Apple one. Who knows, maybe the iPad Air 2 will be a game changer.
