iPhone 6 Release Date Gets Delayed Because of iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3

The iOS has proven to have problems in the 2014 Apple’s new tablet series, the iPad Air2 and the iPad Mini 3. What this means is that may Apple delay the release of the 5.5inch iPhone 6 until the negative impact of the iOS is reduced.

The 5.5inch version of the iPhone 6 might be delayed till January 2015 because they have some production problems. MarketWatch are saying that the delaying of the product is a strategic decision.

It looks like Apple is afraid that the 5.5 inch iPhone 6 will reduce the sales of the new tablets, that are already pretty low. The company’s fear have been confirmed when they released the sales figures for the iPad Mini 3 and the iPad Air 2.

Tablets and shipments of tablets are retreating world wide. Analysts are calling this the phablet phenomenon that was started by the Samsung’s Galaxy Note. So if the new 5.5inch iPhone 6 appears on the market with its stretched screen and new feature, the potential buyers for the iPad’s will probably just get the 5.5inch iPhone 6, and the iPads will remain on stock.

MarketWatch said in one of their reports that they think that Apple is right thinking that the 5.5 inch iPhone 6 will put an end to their new tablets. MarketWatch are saying that consumers will probably just buy the phablet-sized iPhone 6.

A report from the Strategy Analytics said: “”A 5.5-inch iPhone, subsidized by wireless phone providers, would make consumers think twice before purchasing an unsubsidized iPad Mini,”

Apple will probably release the smartphone when they will find a solution on how to release it and to not hurt the sale of the tablets. Also, there is the possibility that Apple might just make some “last minute” modifications. MarketWatch said that Apple want to design an hybrid device, that can be a tablet when folded out and a large-screen smartphone when you choose to fold it.

Apple may have intended to push back its release date plans for the bigger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 in order to soften the iOS phablet’s perceived negative impact to the company’s 2014 tablet line up – the iPad Mini 3 and the iPad Air 2.

They can make this product, but the problem is that it wouldn’t be cheap, and that’s why no other company has not invented this yet.
