Minecraft, Half-Life 2 and Left 4 Dead Among Best Mac Games
It is a pretty well known fact that Apple’s Mac computers aren’t exactly the top choice for any video game enthusiast looking for a gaming platform. In fact, they try to distance themselves from Apple when it comes to this subject. However, don’t think that just because you own an Apple Mac, you won’t be able to play any games at all, as there are several games and apps that work on Macs and are quite enjoyable.
Left 4 Dead 2
This game was produced by Turtle Rock Studios, in collaboration with Valve, and it proved itself to be quite addictive. The game offers several types of multiplayer modes, and encourages teamwork through its gameplay and first person perspective. The game is based around four survivors and throughout the game, you fight the undead across five campaigns. This is the sequel to the original game, Left 4 Dead.
Minecraft is a product of Mojang and is stimulates the player’s creativity through its simplistic, yet complex gameplay, at the same time. Within Minecraft, you are given the tools to build whatever you desire, and also explore worlds. You can rise your own mansion from the ground, or your very own amusement park. You are given a range of building blocks such as gold, diamond, wood and stone. The graphics are very simplistic for this game, but are less important, as the important part remains what you are able to create.
This is another first person shooter, like Left 4 Dead, which stands out through its storyline, which is based on a dystopian alternate history and a multidimensional empire which harvests the Earth, called The Combine. In the game, you play as a character named Gordon Freeman, who serves as the leader and savior of a resistance group called Lambda Resistance. Even though it’s been a while since the game released, many players, even to this day, cherish Half-Life 2’s storyline. The game has been included in numerous Top Games lists.
