Minecraft Xbox One and PS4 Update Brings Top Skins and Screenshots

Here’s a tweet that brought us happiness: “We can see the light at the end of the tunnel! #MinecraftXbox1 #MinecraftPS4 #MinecraftPSVita.” This was a tweet posted by 4J Studios recently.

Some screen prints have also been released to the internet of the Xbox One version of Minecraft on Play XBLA. We can read on the site: ”The team over at 4J Studios tweeted out the image below. As you can see they are hard at work and are enjoying the increased viewing distance. Anyone know what this is? Read on to see the answer, as well as some more screenshots from the upcoming Xbox One release!”

Minecraft is such a successful game that it made over 54 million copies across all the platform it is available on. A new report from Gamespot says that the owners sold 16 million copies on PC/Mac up to this week, while in February you could see that there have been sold 14 million ones.

Here’s a preview of what the new versions of the game will showcase.

Xbox One

  • -If you’re already a proud owner of the Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition (no matter if you bought it from Xbox Live Marketplace or you just played with the disc version) you will be able to upgrade that one to Xbox One Edition for just $4.99.
  • -It will definitely have everything you saw in the Xbox 360 version (and more).
  • -If you don’t have the Xbox 360 Edition, you can buy the Xbox One Edition at the price of $19.99.
  • -The game will feature bigger worlds, a greater draw distance, and a lot more. You will be able to find the game on Xbox Live Marketplace, starting in August.

PlayStation 3 / PlayStation Vita

  • -The Playstation 3 + Vita edition of Minecraft will also be available at the price of $19.99.
  • -The owners are working closely with Sony Computer Entertainment to get the upgrade deal we saw with Microsoft’s console for the Minecraft PlayStation 3 Edition as well
  • -You will be able to enjoy all the features you saw in the Playstation 3 version of the game as well as some others when it will come to PSN in August.
  • -If you already have the Playstation 3 version bought from PSN, then you will get it on Vita without any charging.

PlayStation 4

  • -The update deal is in the working for the PlayStation 4 as well, and the company assures us they will give us more information when we get closer to the release date of the three game versions.
  • -If you already have the PlayStation 3 version, you will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 4 one for only $4.99.
  • -If you don’t have the Minecraft PlayStation 3 Edition, you can buy Minecraft PlayStation 4 Edition for $19.99, exactly the same as the other consoles.
  • -As well as what we saw before, the PlayStation 4 version of the game will be released in August to PlayStation Network.
