Minecraft Xbox One, PS4 and Vita Recent Release Date by 4J Studios
We recently got an update on how the “Minecraft Vita Edition”, “Minecraft PlayStation 4 Edition” and “Minecraft Xbox Edition” are coming along. 4J Studios sent out a tweet that indicated that the production is almost over and that we will see the three version of the game very soon, just as it was announced in some previous statements from the company.
The truth is that fans all over the world were expecting to get all the three version way before the release date we are looking at now. The “Minecraft Xbox One Edition” was officially announced at E3 2013, which would be over a year ago. A few months later, at the GamesCom event, 4J Studios also confirmed that they will be releasing “Minecraft PlayStation 4 Edition” and “Minecraft Vita Edition”, so we know that it has been a long time coming.
We originally expected the company to release these versions with the releasing of the PS4 and Xbox One. The consoles were released, and 4J Studios decided that they will just release the “Minecraft PlayStation 3 Edition” version of the game in the last months of 2013, scheduling a later release date for the versions in question. The PS 3 edition of the popular game was extremely successful, being present in the best-selling charts when it comes to console games.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are also expected to be quite a hit, seeing how they come with some improvements from their predecessor versions: the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 one. While limited by file saving, the company couldn’t give the games infinite worlds, but they did increase the world size by 32 times. We can also see an improvement in imaging, the game having support for 60 frames / second, greater draw distances and a gorgeous screen resolution of 1080p.
The Vita edition of the game is rumored to be an equivalent for “Minecraft PlayStation 3 Edition” or the “Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition”. As for release date, we are expecting these three exquisite versions of the game to hit the market sometime in the month of August. In the meantime, you can look at some screenshots released by 4J Studios’ Twitter account of the new games.
