After the long wait since September of last year Google play store of India, now has its first device Nexus 7. It’s priced at Rs.16000 and is cheaper than any supplier currently available selling this for Rs.2000 to Rs.4000 more. It’s finally worth the wait getting this from Google. The shipping delivery is just one week wait. People that attended Google I/O conference last year got this along with Google Q for free. And those that can’t wait ordered it from other supplier. For those that waited this long to get it from Google, it’s your time to rejoice. No more checking Google play store page for the update!
As you can see, its still in stock, its only been few hours since its launch in the subcontinent. The payment mode available to pay is only through credit card via Google wallet, just like purchasing apps. Though we can except to see it offering other modes of payment as well, but I am not sure. The payment is made to Google Asia Commerce Pte Ltd.
When you check “Link this device to my Google account” Google automatically adds your username when you first power on the device. Just the username and you will need to enter the password yourself.
The package is delivered via Fedex/Aramex in 3-7 business days. But I think its the Aramax here in the south that will do the delivery. Once the order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification with a Fedex/Aramex tracking number. The delivery can be expected as with any Aramax delivery (It’s prompt and mostly on time) and it takes a day to update the shipping status for your tracking number.
