Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Fresh Specs and Release Date

Samsung’s mobile department is facing a continuous financial decline, with a large gap in sales. The Galaxy Note 4 is believed to be Samsung’s savior, who needs this device to be successful, so it can get out of this rough spot. New leaks arrived from China suggest different specifications that what previously reported.

Samsung’s Decline

Analysts say that if Samsung doesn’t manage to recover, and continues to fall down the predicted decline path in sales, it may lose the title of top Android seller. As if its problems weren’t enough, they are also facing steep competition from uprising brands like Lenovo and Xiaomi. In the Chinese market, Xiaomi managed to dethrone Samsung as top seller, and it is expected that Lenovo will be able to accomplish the same thing shortly. It is believed that the difference in shipped devices for the moment is less than 224.000 units.

While the likes of Xiaomi and Lenovo are challenging Samsung at every step in China, there brands like HTC or Sony, that continue to pressure the Korean manufacturer as well. In India, Samsung can only observe the popularity of Nokia and Micromax.

The root of Samsung’s problems is the company banking on the release of their flagship device, the Galaxy S5. But, however, the time of the release put the phone against some really tough competition, such as LG G3, Sony Xperia Z2, HTC One M8, and even the less-known OnePlus One. The Galaxy S4 Note is set to meet the public on September 3rd, at the Berlin IFA convention.

New Galaxy Note Specs

New information has leaked from China regarding the specifications of the soon-to-be released Galaxy Note 4, but it doesn’t really line up with previous reports. However, here is the new information.

According to the new information, the screen featured on the Galaxy Note 4 will be a Quad HD display, and it will have 5.5 inches, and not 5.7 inches, as believed originally. It is set to operate at a 2560 x 1440 maximum resolution, with a 534 ppi pixel density, which isn’t bad at all. The screen will be powered by the Super AMOLED technology.

With Android KitKat 4.4.3 out the box, the Note 4 will leave all the processing and heavy duty in the hands of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, and the 3 GB of RAM included in the deal.

A QHD 3.6 MP camera is set to take its place on the front of the device, while the main attraction of the device’s rear will be the 16 MP ISOSCELL camera.
